Cadillac’s first all-electric vehicle, the LYRIQ crossover, had a nearly invisible first year due to very limited release. Reservation books quickly filled up and the company created a waiting list for the arrival of the 2024 model.
This one is already benefiting from a series of changes, but nothing major, as we reported on in March.
First, the LYRIQ range has been extended with three versions: Techno, Luxury and Sport. The consumer will also be able to choose between eight body colors (possibility of a two-tone combination) and four interior trims.

Unlike the 2023 model, all LYRIQ 2024 come standard with the 11.5 kW charging module, while the 19.2 kW module is optional. According to Natural Resources Canada, the maximum range of the 102 kWh battery is estimated at 505 km (one motor, rear-wheel drive) or 494 km (two motors, all-wheel drive).
As for performance, depending on the number of drive wheels, it’s either 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque or 500 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.
Now, how much does the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ cost? GM Canada has confirmed the prices, which go as follows:
- Techno 1 – $68,699
- Luxury 1 – $71,899
- Luxury 2 – $76,899
- Luxury 3 – $81,199
- Sports 1 – $71,899
- Sports 2 – $76,899
- Sports 3 – $81,199
An additional $4,000 is required for the all-wheel-drive option, not to mention, of course, transport and preparation costs. Either way, the 2024 LYRIQ is too expensive to qualify for provincial and federal electric vehicle subsidies.
By the way, the Luxury versions add, among other things, the Super Cruise driver assistance technology, the 19.2 kW charger, a panoramic power-opening sunroof, a two-tone exterior (black roof), a Nappa leather package, a 19-speaker AKG Studio audio system as well as ventilation and lumbar massage functions for the front seats.

Sport trims have all of that plus various Obsidian Chrome accents with dark finish accents, a distinctive illuminated grille and body-color door handles.
Last detail to note: Cadillac subsidizes the standard installation of a level 2 charging station (240V) for eligible customers who buy or lease a 2024 LYRIQ and take delivery before December 31, 2023. Those who do not want one not may qualify for other recharge offers.
Production of the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ began at the beginning of the month and will increase, assures GM, which is good news.
