Four children, from 11 months to 13 years old, have been missing since May 1st. The plane carrying them crashed in the middle of the Amazonian forest, in the south of Colombia.

The hope of finding alive three children aged 13, 9 and 4 and an 11-month-old baby. These brothers and sisters are said to have survived a plane crash in southern Colombia. The aircraft disappeared from radar on May 1 and was located three days ago. The body of the pilot was found in the cabin, that of the mother and another adult a little further.

Children seen by native tribes?

The children are always missing. A message from their grandmother was broadcast into the jungle from the loudspeaker of an army helicopter. Did the children manage to survive more than 15 days in this hostile jungle, populated by wild animals? Members of indigenous tribes claim to have seen them, but these are fragile testimonies. Rescuers discovered a makeshift shelter made of sticks and branches. A few hours ago, Thursday May 18, total confusion when the Colombian president announced that the children were safe and sound. He had to apologize to the nation, and ensures that the research continues.
