babysitter charged with rape of 4-year-old child

A man has been indicted for rape of a minor, suspected of having assaulted a 4-year-old child for whom he was the babysitter, the Grenoble prosecutor’s office announced on Monday May 15, confirming information from the Dauphiné liberated.

The 41-year-old man was also indicted for possession and habitual consultation of child pornography images and was remanded in custody, said Grenoble public prosecutor Eric Vaillant in a statement.

The little boy cared for by the suspect managed to express what he would have suffered, reports France Bleu Isère.
