An agreement in principle was reached Sunday evening between the Union of United Workers of the Library and National Archives of Quebec (BAnQ-CSN) and the employer party.

This was announced by the union which represents 350 employees of BAnQ, by press release.
“The content of the agreement will be presented shortly to the members at a general meeting,” he said, without giving further details.
Recall that the union members had launched a five-day strike, Thursday, in the 13 establishments of BAnQ. Without a collective agreement since March 2020, they notably deplored not having received any salary increase for five years and claimed, among other things, a “substantial” increase in salaries.
