On the occasion of Poetry Month, The duty, with the complicity of the Office of Poetic Affairs, gives a poem to read each week. For this third of five weeks: the beauty body of the worldby Jonathan Lamy.
the beauty body of the world
in you the anger beats
a spare heart
your reflection continues
to hold up his sign
where the city forgot
to draw bodies
a part of you is protesting
like a breath
an emergency shelter
with what remains of hope
between two organs
of language of revolt
the protest continues
silently in your veins
a chariot of wishes
possible madness
kindness rages
from one generation to another
the sweetness that dwells within us
always comes back in fashion
shows teeth
rest and remember
resistance is pollen
of contagious beauty
