It’s not just on TV sets that hosts meet… As proof, this selfie posted in an Instagram story, this Sunday, May 14, 2023, by Karine Le Marchand in “runner” outfit posing, looking mischievous, alongside another runner, Estelle Denis! A meeting that seems to be due to pure chance in a place that these two sportswomen know well: the Bois de Boulogne, in the west of Paris. A huge 846-hectare park that turns into a realm of joggers during the day. As for the night, that’s another story… to which the presenter of Love is in the meadowobviously winks in his post: “Nice meeting (not priced) in the Bois de Boulogne…” An always mischievous humor that characterizes this member of the Big heads on RTL, a show where she is generally not the last to make saucy remarks, nor to laugh at the most Gallic jokes. A light mind… in a healthy body! Because if she tastes heavy humor, in terms of lifestyle, the beautiful 54-year-old swears only by “light” and “fitness”. Every day, as soon as she can, she puts on her sneakers and goes for a run of at least 10 km in the alleys of this famous wood adjoining the 16e district or in the middle of the countryside as soon as she finds herself filming.

“Running… for a good cause”
A rhythm of life that is essential to this follower of marathons who, in 2015, launched a tailor-made and free running app called smiles run. A download box that was intended to “reintroduce pleasure and joy into sport, get out of conventional sporting events and competition, encourage an entire population to move, for themselves… and for a good cause”, she said at the time, during the launch. A state of mind shared by this other runner that she has just crossed on her way! Estelle Denis also promoted in her book Tomorrow I’ll start, released in 2018, the virtues of running. The RMC journalist can’t live without it either! This accomplished sportswoman since her early youth, who has become a marathon runner, devotes her free time to running… but rather in warrior mode! In 2015, she told BFM: “The goal is the time! If I don’t have a goal, I can’t achieve it. I can’t imagine running to maintain myself, I have to have a sporting goal.” Two interesting philosophies… but we suspect that between the two women, the chat break surely did not revolve around their sports results but more surely around those who make their respective hearts beat now…
