Snow as far as the plains in Drôme and Ardèche

The snow invited itself to the plain this Friday at the end of the night. The light dusting quickly melted north of the Rhône Valley. The few centimeters of snow held a little longer in the South Ardèche. Many listeners have immortalized these not so frequent moments at low altitude.

The snow removal teams had anticipated thanks to the yellow vigilance activated by Météo France. Despite everything, there were some traffic difficulties in South Ardèche, especially on the departmental 104 from Lablachère to the border with the Gard. Above 300 meters, traffic was tricky due to snowy roads, ice and fog.

On the Drôme side, it fell a few centimeters in the south of the Rhône Valley and on the Drôme des Collines, between 5 and 10 cm in the Baronnies and it snowed again in the Vercors where there was rarely so much snow for the start of the season!
