Even if the territory of Quebec is full of fresh water, a multitude of questions arise about our high water consumption. The precious unmetered resource is used at home and bottlers pump it out at high speeds, at much lower fees than those imposed elsewhere in the world. These rates, which have stagnated for more than a decade, represent only crumbs, according to the Legault government. We explain the ambitions of the CAQ to update the regulations.
