(Philadelphia) The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Toronto Blue Jays 8-4 on Tuesday night thanks to Nick Castellanos, author of a home run and two runs.
Aaron Nola (3-2) gave up two runs on five hits in six innings to win his third straight game. Brandon Marsh hit a double in the eighth inning and Alec Bohm hit twice for the Phillies.
Bo Bichette hit his eighth long pitch of the season for the Blue Jays. Alek Manoah (1-3) gave up three runs in four and two-thirds innings and 94 pitches.
Castellanos hit a fastball from Manoah in the fourth inning and sent it just inside the left post for his fifth homer of the season, good for two runs, which gave the Phillies a 2-1 lead .
Bryson Stott, Trea Turner, JT Realmuto and Edmundo Sosa also scored points for the Phillies.
Kevin Kiermaier hit two hits and scored two runs for the Blue Jays.
