Saturday May 6, Prince Harry went up the nave of Westminster Abbey alone. As he passed, eyes shifted. He will have to wait 30 minutes to see his father solemnly enter the basilica. Charles III is then followed by Prince William and Kate, in full dress. The ceremony begins and protocol tells the world of Harry’s estrangement. The two brothers could theoretically be seated side by side, but that’s not the case. Harry is relegated with second cousins.

Since then, the media confessions of Harry and Meghan have severed ties and Buckingham no longer even tries to maintain the illusion.
