What a joy to discover this kind of UFO that is a well-written, well-structured and captivating novella, not to mention its limpid, lively and luminous style. The narrator assumes the role of a dark character. Imagining himself being followed, he changes his itineraries whenever possible; to taxis, he gives false addresses; when he monitors unknowns, he is discreet, inventive. The most important thing is that he will learn of the existence of a certain Teresa Manzoni: “a gallery owner without a gallery. She organizes[e] ephemeral art exhibitions in places away from conventional circuits”. Here we are then projected into the staging of a satire of contemporary art which is absolutely enjoyable. Passionate about photography, the character will take a single snapshot of a secret event organized by the gallery owner Manzoni. As you can imagine, this gesture is prohibited. In short, if you like fake crime novels against a backdrop of fake obscure arts, you have to read this particular and very successful book.
