In the Laurentians and Montérégie, Hydro-Québec’s report shows 9,229 and 8,297 households without electricity respectively.
In Montreal, 346 households were plunged into darkness, while in the Outaouais, there were just over 753 homes without electricity.
“About 450 workers are mobilized to restore power as quickly as possible,” said Hydro-Quebec in a message posted on the Info-Panes site.
