In 16 seasons and nearly 400 episodes, the show America’s Got Talent revealed many talents. One of them met a tragic end. Skilyr hicks died, at just 23 years old.
The sad news was announced by TMZ. The American site reveals that Skilyr Hicks died on Monday, December 6, 2021. The mother of the deceased, Jodi, clarified that she had been found unconscious at the home of a friend, in the city of Liberty in South Carolina. She added that her daughter suffered from mental health problems and had a history of depression and drug use.
Deputy Sheriff Chad Brooks of the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office just revealed that Skilyr Hicks’ body was found on the bathroom floor. Drugs and materials to consume it were also found there.
The singer was pronounced dead on the spot. She would have overdosed.
