In protest against the pension reform, the unions distributed red cards and whistles to Nantes and Toulouse supporters before the final of the Coupe de France on Saturday April 29.

As soon as they left the metro, the supporters of Nantes and Toulouse had a special welcome committee on Saturday April 29, a few hours before the final of the Coupe de France football. The unions handed them red cards and whistles to protest against the pension reform. Earlier in the afternoon, justice had canceled the prefectural decree prohibiting the rally of the CGT.

Emmanuel Macron will not return the cup to the field

At 49 minutes and 3 seconds during the match, in reference to Article 49.3 of the Constitution used by the executive to pass the reform, the unions ask the public to express their protest against the President of the Republic present at the Stade de France. But the supporters are divided. “Today, it’s not politics, it’s sport, it’s FC Nantes above all“, confides a spectator. Nearly 3,000 members of the police are mobilized. The protocol has also been adapted: Emmanuel Macron will not put the cup back on the ground, but in the stands.
