Wednesday, April 26, the day after the death of the little girl, the inhabitants of this small village take turns to lay flowers and exchange a few words with the mother of the child. Upset, she spoke in front of the cameras. “I just want justice done. […] Today, who comes to take me in their arms, who comes to give me a kiss, who comes to tell me mom? she indicated.
“Placed under judicial supervision”
The main suspect returned to the scene with investigators. Aged 15, he was already indicted as part of a judicial investigation for rape in 2022. In the village, residents are wondering. How did this indicted teenager find himself free to move? The prosecutor explains: “He was placed under judicial supervision on March 3, 2022 with placement in a closed educational center.” This placement was lifted in April 2023, when he returned to the family home. The young man had been noticed by the locals for his inappropriate behavior.
