Quebec tennis player Félix Auger-Aliassime is one of Dior’s newest ambassadors, the high-end clothing brand announced over the weekend.
The ninth racket in the world has signed new partnerships with the prestigious French designer this year, it was confirmed at the Log, Sunday.
Auger-Aliassime, 22, notably wore a set created by Kim Jones, the brand’s creative director, during a promotional activity as part of the end-of-season Masters in Turin last year.
“Embodying the spirit and the timeless signature of Dior’s men’s creations made by Kim Jones, the athlete is photographed here in a tailor-made suit”, can we read under the Twitter post of the house.
The winner of four ATP titles isn’t the only tennis player to partner with Dior. Briton Emma Raducanu also became one of its ambassadors after winning the United States Open in 2021.
Dior has other athletes among its ambassadors, including French soccer player Kylian Mbappé, who has been the face of the Sauvage fragrance since last year.
Renault too
Earlier this year, Auger-Aliassime also became one of three new ambassadors for French car brand Renault. The Quebecois wears one of their logos on the sleeve of his t-shirts when he is in a tournament.
“FAA” had, among other things, explained its choice by evoking a program set up by the manufacturer to encourage the practice of sport by young people. In October 2022, the company inaugurated three refurbished pitches on French soil.
