(Montreal) Montreal police have opened another investigation into shots fired at a residential building, this time in the borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro, in the northwest of the city.
Information transmitted around 11:15 p.m. Thursday evening to the 911 emergency telephone center reported that at least one person opened fire in the direction of a residence on 16e Street, near the intersection of 15e Avenue, in the Roxboro district.
Upon their arrival in the mainly residential area, officers from the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) found that a house showed traces of projectiles. Shortly after, they found shell casings on the ground.
There were no injuries and no suspects were seen.
The SPVM therefore deployed members of its canine unit and forensic identification technicians to gather information that could be useful to its investigators in resolving this case.
