At 43, Léa Salamé is one of the country’s most popular and sought-after journalists. After having cut her teeth on France 24 then on i-Télé, the native of Beirut (Lebanon) became a columnist in the program “On n’est pas couche” on France 2 before joining Laurent Ruquier at the animation of the program “We are live”. Since September 2022, she has hosted the talk show “Quelle époque” which is breaking audience records, without forgetting her love for the radio since she also officiates on France Inter and RTL.
This Wednesday, April 19, 2023, the journalist confided during the program “Small Talk” and precisely returned to the period when she was a columnist alongside Aymeric Caron, then Yann Moix in “We are not lying ” on France 2. “Suddenly, I’m going to switch from a form of small notoriety of a nana from iTélé, but not much, to the one who is on the front page of all the magazines” she remembered. “But really all of them. My mother kept them, I can tell you that I was plastered everywhere. As soon as I said something, it was controversial for four days” she adds before finally acknowledging that she’s finished by taking the big head.
“There is a moment when we are disoriented”
“And there, I was 34 or 35 years old, necessarily there is a moment when we are unbalanced. And it is at this moment that we believe that our questions are more important than the answers, and that it there was a little crack. It didn’t last very long, but probably a few months” admits the darling of Raphaël Glucksmann.

After forty years, if we are still farting, we are sorry. But even before, first I was a mother. And then we understand that no one is irreplaceable, that things pass ” she concluded.
