the Flots Bleus campsite is reborn from its ashes

It is a symbol of the Arcachon basin (Gironde). The Flots Bleus campsite has just reopened. For years, tourists have dreamed of discovering this mythical place made famous by the camping film series. “It’s a pleasure to participate in the renewal of tourism in the region”explains a visitor. While in July 2022, 90% of the site is charred, the landscape known by regular tourists has changed somewhat. “Everything’s blacked out down below”launches one of them.

The campsite has only partially reopened, half of the site is still under construction. “There, we are redoing the roads, after there is a big cleaning to do”, details the director of the campsite. Here, everyone fought to reopen as soon as possible, whatever the conditions. They have only one objective: to finish the work before the summer, hoping to be complete in July.
