Two Quebec artists who participate in the new version of starmaniaManet-Miriam Baghdassarian and David Latulippe, are nominated for the Musical Comedy Trophies.

It’s been almost a year since I left Quebec to take part in starmania. I’m proud of what we’ve built as a show. The 12 nominations (at the Musical Comedy Trophies) do not surprise me. I’m also proud of what I accomplish on this show. »

He continues: “For 10 years, I have been pushing to make only music in my life. I am working hard for a career in France. I am far from my family and my country, but this nomination reminds me that my efforts are rewarded. Whether I win or not, it means a lot to me. »

For her part, Montreal singer Manet-Miriam Baghdassarian is in the running for the trophy for best supporting actress thanks to her interpretation of Sadia.
