Vitaa and Diam’s have been close friends in the private sphere for nearly 20 years. Known for their iconic duet in 2006 in “Confesssions Nocturnes”, the two singers have always stayed in touch despite the rapper’s decision to leave the world of song.
In the documentary “Salam” in which Diam’s recently revealed herself, Vitaa also took the floor to confess about her lifelong friend: “I did a whole tour with her and I see you go from moments of euphoria to moments of great sadness, without understanding why she is going through this. I remember, she leaves the stage, an incredible concert, and I find her all alone, in a locker room, in tears” explains- she in an excerpt. “I always had the feeling that she caressed him on the surface and that she flew over moments of happiness without ever reaching him. Very quickly, I saw a facet of Mélanie that completely left me speechless and upset,” she adds.
Vitaa and Diam’s meet in Mecca
For his part, Diam’s confided in the columns of Parisian on his flawless friendship with Vitaa, of his real first name Charlotte: “I’m happy when my girlfriend is. Afterwards, I’m afraid for her of the same things that scared me. With Charlotte, nour friendship has never changed. We were two little ‘girls’ who spent evenings together. Today, we are two mothers who meet in the afternoon“.
If they try to see each other regularly, Vitaa living in the Paris region and Diam’s in Morocco, they had the chance to meet again a few hours ago. This Thursday, April 13, 2023, they also shared on Instagram, photos and videos of this privileged moment spent together. The two mothers both traveled to Mecca, Saudi Arabia for Ramadan. A reunion immortalized with a nice photo where they both appear veiled from behind. ““You and me here my tic” writes Vitaa with emotion, in reference to the Disney duo Tic et Tac.
