Previously an emergency nurse, Caroline Estrémo decided to leave her job to get on the boards. She tells with humor the routine and the difficult reality of the job.

No more white blouse: on stage, it is in a black jumpsuit that Caroline Estrémo presents herself. Yesterday a nurse, today a comedian. For a long time, she reconciled hospital and humor, with sketches shot during her breaks at the Toulouse University Hospital which created a buzz. She writes a show. Two years ago, she resigned from the emergency department, heading to the capital. Humor is now his daily life.

A healing laugh

One evening, Caroline Estrémo plays on a barge dedicated to one man show. The actress has kept her habits: in her bag, there is always “[sa] medicine kit”. “I keep my little tablets to relax”, she explains. Her audience, mainly made up of caregivers, recognizes herself a lot in what she says. “I think laughter can heal, she says. I tried with many patients, in most cases it defused.” If she stops the scene, she will put her nurse’s blouse back on without hesitation.
