The secret to a successful burger? 100% local and nothing that does not exceed 5 km“, believes Aline Mosermanager of food truck Fool of Angus at Hoerdt (Bas-Rhin). With his companion Mickaël Gangloffthey settled in an industrial area with bread from the baker, vegetables from the market gardener and steaks from their farm. Every day they sell 40 burgers.

An initiative launched three years ago

After the midday rush, back to the field for these breeders with a double life. They look after 40 free-range Angus cows. These thirty-somethings had the idea of ​​creating the food truck three years ago “to enhance the low cuts“, explains Aline Moser. Their bet: produce their meat but also their potatoes for home fries. Their regular customers are delighted to be able to taste their products, even if it costs a little more than in fast food. To taste this burger on a short circuit, you will have to pay between 9.80 euros and 11.80 euros.
