(Montreal) An 18-year-old man was stabbed following a conflict that arose in a school for adults in the borough of Montreal-Nord. The victim is “out of danger”, according to the police.
The conflict behind the attack erupted on Tuesday morning around 8:30 a.m. A student who attends an adult school on Boulevard Saint-Vital, near Rue Prieur, was stabbed in the upper body. Agent Véronique Dubuc, media relations of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). “His life is out of danger,” she added.
An argument between two students would have started inside the establishment, according to the first information. There are no other injuries.
A perimeter has been erected and the dog handler is heading to comb the scene. Investigators and forensic identification technicians are on the scene. The police on the scene are currently trying to locate the suspect, who fled on foot.
