Taiwanese authorities confirmed on Saturday morning April 8 that nine warships and 71 fighter jets are deployed by China. The objective of these large-scale military maneuvers was explained on Saturday April 8 by the presenter of Chinese central television: Beijing wishes to encircle the island of Taiwan, and this involves taking control of the sea and space. air. These maneuvers are presented by several experts as reprisals after the recent visit of the Taiwanese president to the United States.

The Chinese army has spread its power by mobilizing destroyers, fast missile launchers, fighter planes, tankers and jammers around Taiwan. And from Monday, April 10, the communist regime announces that the operations will be carried out with live fire. The army will notably deploy for its live fire in the part of the Taiwan Strait, the closest to the island, off the Chinese province of Fujian, only about 130 kilometers from the Taiwanese coast. A serious warning addressed to the separatists, said Saturday morning, April 8, a press release from the Chinese army.

Xi Jinping won’t compromise on Taiwan

Since 2016 when a separatist president was elected in Taiwan, China has multiplied these military exercises in the strait. Beijing quite regularly carries out aerial incursions into the Taiwanese defense zone. So far, the communist regime has never gone beyond these exercises, contenting itself with a kind of “flexing its muscles”. But the projects of the Chinese president are difficult to perceive.

Xi Jinping said this week that he will not compromise on Taiwan. What we can say in any case is that the military operations which began on Saturday 8 April in the morning remain for the moment less important than the unprecedented maneuvers which were launched last August, after the visit to Taipei by Nancy Pelosi, the former speaker of the US House of Representatives.
