Services and businesses open during the Easter holiday

Montrealers who wish to take advantage of the long weekend to carry their waste can, however, go to Laval, where the recycling center will be open on Saturday and Monday.

Public markets will remain open all weekend, as well as Space for Life facilities.

The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) is exceptionally free on Friday, and invites people who have lost electricity in their homes to come and warm up. It will remain open on weekends, but will close on Monday, as usual. The Museum of Contemporary Art will be exceptionally open on Monday. In Quebec, the Musée de la civilization will be open this weekend.

As for local sports and community facilities such as arenas, swimming pools and libraries, their schedules will vary from one borough to another in the city, but several facilities will close during the Easter holiday.
