Unrealistic and utopian | The duty

Oil companies extract about a million barrels of oil a day, which they would like to replace by burying the amount of carbon they contain in their place. It is therefore necessary, for each barrel, to extract a hundred kilograms of CO2 of the atmosphere. CO2 being a light gas, to assemble 100 kg of it, it is necessary to filter a volume of air of approximately one million cubic meters. If a stadium-sized plant (100 meters by 100 meters) draws in air to separate CO2this plant must suck in 100 cubic meters of air per square meter.

Doing this in a day is quite possible, but this calculation only applies to one barrel. This operation must be repeated a million times a day.

CCS technologies are not only inefficient, they are impractical and utopian. Throwing our money out the window or into the CSCs, same result.
