“I never imagined this possible in America,” exclaimed Donald Trump on Tuesday evening about his indictment, hours after his appearance in court in New York.
“The only offense I have committed is to have defended our country without fear against those who seek to destroy it”, declared the former American president, denouncing an “insult” to the United States during a speech to his supporters from his home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
