According to the Radio France investigation unit, a dozen McKinsey consultants participated in Emmanuel Macron’s campaign in 2017. In an investigation published on April 4, new testimonies are made public. The investigation by the Radio France investigation unit also reveals that searches took place at the home of one of the leaders of McKinsey and at the home of a former close collaborator of Emmanuel Macron.

Two open judicial inquiries
Last October, two judicial inquiries were opened by the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office. The first concerns suspicions of illegal financing of Emmanuel Macron’s campaign. Consultants from the consulting firm McKinsey are suspected of having worked for free for the candidate when their services should have been remunerated.
The second judicial investigation relates to suspicions of favoritism to determine whether McKinsey obtained, in exchange for its services, public contracts.
