Diam’s and Vitaa’s “Nocturnal Confessions” hit, released 15 years ago, has been brought up to date by residents of an Ehpad in Bourges, on TikTok. Their video has been viewed over three million times.
Wednesday Adams: this is the theme of the video of the day for Lucette and Annick, resident of the Ehpad Taillegrain in Bourges (Cher). The two residents, aged 92 and 80 respectively, will have to reproduce a dance that is a hit on social networks. After viewing an example, they learn the choreography in minutes.
3.3 million views on TikTok
At the initiative of this 2.0 workshop, Elodie and Chloé, two nursing assistants from the Ehpad. Launched at the beginning of the month, the idea quickly won over. “Out of 40 residents, there are at least a dozen who said yes”, reports Chloe. The resumption in playback of the tube Night confessions blew up the counters, with 3.3 million views on TikTok, the favorite platform for 16-25 year olds. “I never would have thought that there were so many people who could watch us. (…) It’s nice to be known, kind words”confides Lucette.
