After Ugo’s return from the Island of the Banished, victorious against Alix and Sam, the five finalists of Koh-Lanta, The Legend are known. Laurent, Claude, Phil, Jade and Ugo thus hope to qualify to go to the posts and perhaps win the game of survival! First place for the legendary orientation test.
Denis Brogniart explains the rules, which have always been the same for years. They are five for three places. All have a compass and a map where three remarkable areas are highlighted: the white coral, the egg strain and the intertwined root. The mission of the five adventurers is to find an area and then, within a radius of twenty paces, find a beacon. Above, a number corresponding to the number of steps and a color corresponding to a direction inscribed on the orientation table. From there, you have to find one of the three daggers to qualify.
Laurent walks alone towards the white coral. Jade and Claude are looking for the egg strain. Ugo and Phil go to the intertwined root.
Laurent tries madness, Ugo gets angry with Phil
Laurent finds his point of reference fairly quickly. He asks for the help of his mother, who died last January of the Covid-19. After a little research, here he is trying “something crazy“: he starts looking directly in the water! Then he comes to his senses.
For his part, Ugo also finds his point of reference! He remains discreet so as not to arouse Phil’s suspicion. He immediately falls on the beacon and rushes to the orientation table. Back, he realizes that Phil is going to follow him. “One day you plan to find the beacon in an orientation test or not?“, he launches, annoyed by the behavior of his competitor. A spike which refers to the fact that Phil, during one of his two previous participations in Koh Lanta, could not find the tag. And Ugo to catch up: “No, but that’s normal, it’s the game. Sorry, I’m a little pissed off.” Ultimately, Ugo finds the dagger! He is the first to qualify for the posts !
Claude follows! He also found the landmark and the beacon. Back from the orientation table, he finds Jade. “You see now. Either go somewhere else where no one has found yet, or you follow me“, he launches. Fair play, the adventurer decides not to encroach on the beds of her comrade. Claude in turn finds the dagger! He is the second qualifier for the posts.
Jade, Phil and Laurent fight for the last place
There is only one dagger left to find. Jade and Phil join Laurent on the white coral area. That’s when he finds the beacon and gets a head start on his two comrades. Phil then starts looking at his side, then finds the beacon before heading off to the orientation table. However, he is wrong about the direction to follow!
For her part, Jade is completely lost and is not looking in the right place. She arrives very late in the area.
After more than three hours of research, Laurent falls on the dagger! Here he is qualified for the posts, with Ugo and Claude. Jade bursts into tears of disappointment.
Phil is also affected. He takes out of his bag a drawing of his son Timéo, which shows it on the posts. With Jade, he goes to the final council, waiting for the last three survivors.
