Belgian Lotte Kopecky triumphs at home

Lotte Kopecky did it again. Like last year, the Belgian won the Tour of Flanders on Sunday April 2. After having cracked the Italian Persico 20 kilometers from the finish in Old Kwaremont, Kopecky left no chance to her rivals and won alone. Her teammate Demi Vollering (Team SD Worx) took second place by sprinting a group of seven. Italian Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek-Segafredo) completed the podium. Best Frenchwoman, Juliette Labous (Team DSM) finished in sixth place.
