Lina, a 25-year-old nurse, sees dead people every day. “When you lose a companion, the first time, you feel really bad. Now, in most cases, I manage to control my emotions. You have to keep a cool head and try not to feel anything”, she says. According to Western estimates, nearly 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed or injured over the past year.
