Inflation reaches almost 9% in February

In Munich (Germany), striking employees marched through the airport lobby. They are demanding a 10 to 12% wage increase to cope with inflation which reached almost 9% in February. In March, workers at the German Post received an 8.5% raise after going on strike. Transport unions have announced that they could take further action if negotiations remain deadlocked.
