The FSSS, affiliated with the CSN, is Tuesday on its fifth day of an indefinite strike.

She negotiated Monday with government representatives, such as the Federation of Early Childhood Intervenors (FIPEQ), and she continued her negotiations on Tuesday.

The FIPEQ, affiliated with the CSQ, is awaiting a response from the government to the discussions it had on Monday.

The FIPEQ and the Quebec Service Employees Union, affiliated with the FTQ, must in turn call an indefinite strike Thursday morning, failing an agreement with the Quebec government by then.

The FIPEQ and the SQEES are not so far removed from the government position; the CSN is more so.
