new meeting between Emmanuel Macron and Elisabeth Borne at the Élysée

The Prime Minister, as well as representatives of the majority and ministers will meet with the President of the Republic on Monday March 27 at the Élysée. “We know that the executive does not want to let itself be locked into a situation of wait-and-see and immobility”, announces Thierry Curtet. “Emmanuel Macron wants to give movement to his action. He therefore set a roadmap for his Prime Minister. Elisabeth Borne tomorrow at noon will come to present her first action plan”, adds the journalist.

Avoid paralysis

“There is no longer any question of widening the majority after the end of inadmissibility of the Les Républicains party. Elisabeth Borne will above all present a method, and it will be a question of majority text after text in the National Assembly”, breathes Thierry Curtet, before detailing the rest of the President’s day.

“Then, all the executives of the majority as well as some ministers will meet at the Élysée. It is urgent, we are told, to share ideas and reflections. The executive wants at all costs to avoid paralysis on the eve of a tenth day of action”, he concludes.
