In terms of health, the Covid-19 epidemic is on the rise in Europe. “We really have to make people understand that without generalized vaccination and very wide access to this third dose, we will still experience successive waves”, warns the European Commissioner for Justice.
Should vaccination become compulsory and be extended to all of Europe? “It is a choice of the Member States, it is a national decision. But we must move towards the widest possible vaccination. So, if, in a Member State, the way to get there is the character obligatory, I believe that we must go in this direction. If we hesitate, we must do everything to orient citizens towards the vaccine and put quite strong constraints, in particular through the health pass “, concludes Didier Reynders.
