“Who is Lonny?”
This is the question posed to Thierry Lhermitte by Bernard Montiel who made him listen to a song during his appearance on the show 1 hour with… on RFM. “She is a singer-songwriter that I adore”revealed the comedian all smiles, Saturday March 18, 2023. The host asked him again who this artist was, responding to the name of Louise. “It’s my daughter”.
At almost 30 years old, Lonny released his first album in January 2022, titled, ex voto. A disc bringing together 11 folk tracks. “She’s been singing since she was six?” asked the show’s columnist Do not touch My TV on C8. “She didn’t sing, she played the viola from six years old to 18”he replied. “At six years old, she told us that she wanted to play a low bowed string instrument. We were a little taken aback so she was probably thinking of the cello. The latter did not want to be an actress like dad. Besides, none of his three children followed in his footsteps since his eldest daughter, Astrée, born in 1975, is a painter and Victor, born in 1979, works in the restaurant industry in Canada.
Thierry Lhermitte goes alone on stage in sun flowersan adaptation of Simon Wiesenthal’s memoir at the Antoine Theater in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, from March 16 to 25, 2023. The 70-year-old man “brings to life all the characters in this incredible story, having enjoyed worldwide success since its release in 1969”.
