During his videoconference on Friday March 17 with the prefects, Gérald Darmanin announced three main messages, learned franceinfo from the minister’s entourage.
The Minister of the Interior asked them to pay particular attention “on the baccalaureate days scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.” But also, “electricity cuts, oil refineries and depots and high traffic roads.”

Finally, Gérald Darmanin reminded the prefects to reinforce security “elected officials, parliamentarians, institutions in a context of threats” and to remain vigilant in the face of possible “degradation of permanence”.
