Happy Birthday! This Wednesday, March 15, 2023, RTL celebrates its 90th anniversary. An opportunity for loyal listeners to converse with Pascal Praud and Laurent Marsick. For more than 40 years, Claudette has maintained a special relationship with the radio station. The reason ? The latter gave birth to her son thanks to the Big heads. “It was July 12, 1980, I was in the labor room and the baby couldn’t come out, so the doctor allowed me to listen to the radio and I came across RTL, which I didn’t know because I used to live in Nice and we couldn’t get RTL. So I came across the Big Heads that I didn’t know either and it was Jean Yanne. He made me laugh so much that the baby came out“, told the listener on the airwaves of RTL. An anecdote that did not fail to make the journalist laugh. Amused by this story, Pascal Praud hastened to ask for news of the baby in question. A baby named Christian who has grown up well since he will blow his 43rd candle next July.

Jean Yanne emblematic figure of the Big Heads
Deceased on May 23, 2003, Jean Yanne embodies, even today, the soul of Big heads. King of derision, he set the tone by slipping into the skin of a grumpy and individualistic character, but generous despite everything. It was alongside Jacques Martin and Olivier de Kersauson that the actor, humorist, writer, director, singer, producer and composer indulged in hilarious improvisation numbers. Sketches that listeners have not forgotten and which have forever marked the history of Big heads since beyond a simple entertainer, the emblematic columnist of the famous radio tended to highlight the ridiculousness of our society!
