Monday, March 12, the commercial court of Angers (Maine-et-Loire) ordered the judicial liquidation of the company Carréneuf, a real estate company. Customers and craftsmen are now worried.
Individual houses, subdivisions, buildings… This is what the Carréneuf real estate group offered in the west of France. But now the doors of the agencies are closed. There is no more activity. The Commercial Court of Angers (Maine et Loire) liquidated the company on Monday, March 13. Involved in a dozen files with the group, a design office has not received any payment since July 2022, i.e. a debt of 25,000 euros. Cyril Noirtin, manager of the design office, explains: “We have made reminders on our files, but we have no news. The excuses are: the invoice is not well titled or there is a problem on the invoice.”
Construction sites at a standstill
A far from isolated case, the construction site of a residence of 26 apartments is at a standstill. On social networks, the future buyers of Carréneuf have created a collective. In particular, you can read: “For the time being the frame is delivered, but not installed. We had to rent a house while waiting, when we had planned large.” Master Bertrand Salquain defends both clients and craftsmen. He wonders about the financial health of Carréneuf in recent months. The liquidation of Carréneuf was requested by its manager Mickaël Juret. Contacted, neither Mickaël Juret nor the Carréneuf group responded to our requests.
