The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is investigating an arson attack that occurred in a business in Saint-Laurent on the night of Monday to Tuesday.
SPVM officers went to the scene around 1:30 a.m. for a fire in a business located on chemin du Bois-Franc, near rue du Miniac, in Saint-Laurent.
At least one suspect would have smashed a window of the establishment to set it on fire before fleeing, said agent Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the police force.
No incendiary objects were found inside the store. The building sustained extensive damage, but no injuries were reported.
