Certainly not, according to the CFDT”replies Laurent Berger.

Laurent Berger recalls that his union, reformist, is “able to negotiate, discuss, sign agreements”but “we also have to be able to lead the balance of power when we are not heard and when there is not really anyone who really wants to discuss face to face”. The boss of the CFDT says so “ready to come back to discuss with the executive, but for that, he must be able to open the door”which he considers not to be the case currently.
