Kim Jong-un, Richard Nixon, Hillary Clinton… Donald Trump will soon publish a collection of 150 letters addressed to him by some of the most famous figures in modern history, his publisher announced on Thursday.
Letters to Trump traces the “incredible and often private” correspondence between the former American president and leaders, media stars and athletes over the past 40 years, boasts Winning Team Publishing.
Among these documents, a missive from the legend of American television Oprah Winfrey, who wrote to him in 2000: “What a pity that we are not running for president together. What a team we would make! “.
Each letter is accompanied by a comment from the Republican.
Many of them date from when the septuagenarian was a real estate mogul and reality TV star in New York. Others come from political heavyweights, such as his 2016 Democratic presidential opponent Hillary Clinton, or North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Donald Trump had described as “love letters” the messages sent by the North Korean dictator, with whom he had a very commented diplomatic relationship.
The book, which retails for $99 or $399 for a signed copy, will be released April 25.
