Mild temperatures under the clouds in Quebec

The weather will be generally cloudy Wednesday across most areas of Quebec now won by the thaw.

The cloud cover will leave barely a few clearings at times in Greater Montreal, where the mercury will show 4 degrees on the thermometer.

In the western sectors of the province, we can expect the same conditions, even if the temperatures will still be negative during the day.

Light snow will end quickly in the morning to give way to dense clouds in Estrie, Beauce and Mauricie, according to Environment Canada forecasts.

In these sectors dominated by a milky sky as well as in Quebec, temperatures could reach up to 5 degrees, while Charlevoix will experience a rainy episode in the morning.

Virtually the same scenario is expected in eastern Quebec where the mercury will be abnormally higher during such a period with highs of 5 degrees.

The persistent clouds will mean that the sun will still be desired Thursday almost everywhere in Quebec, except in certain sectors of the east of the province where clearings are expected.
