They said yes on May 7, 2008 already… And since then, Jamel and Mélissa have founded a warm home thanks to Léon, 14, and Lila, 11. And the comedian and the journalist decided, on this weekend of March 4 and 5, 2023, to set off with the family to conquer the snowy peaks of Alpe d’Huez. A photo novel that everyone, from their respective Instagram account, shared with visibly great enthusiasm. Let’s go down the slopes in a colorful jumpsuit with the exception of Mélissa Theuriau who preferred to play tone on tone by wearing white. But this is not her only distinction: she is also the only one to try snowboarding and also the only one… to be on the ground. While hers are waiting for her, standing on skis, the beauty smiles at her fall. After all, laugh it off, the resort hosts its annual International Comedy Film Festival! A nice breath of fresh air for the pretty quartet which is lucky enough to have an exceptional snow cover rate compared to other peaks in France.
“I have the impression that they are trying to look like us”
If they only very rarely share pictures of their children, in order to protect them from their notoriety, the parents are this time serene: under the helmets and behind their big glasses, it is impossible to identify their children! On the other hand, as a proud father of his offspring, Jamel Debbouze is quite talkative when asked about them. On October 15, invited to 50 minutes Inside for the promotion of his latest film The new toydirected by James Huth, the master of ceremonies of the César 2023 released some very personal confidences… When Nikos Aliagas questions him: “What are you trying to pass on to your children?”, the comedian did not try to hide that the education of two pre-teens was not obvious: “I feel like everything I’m trying to convey is failing”, he said not without humor. And to continue: “Mélissa and I, they saw us live, they saw us evolve, they saw us exchange, and I have the impression that they seek to resemble us.” To the point of coming to the conclusion that “the best way to transmit is precisely not to try to transmit and to be as close as possible to oneself (…)This is what makes us serve as an example.” From now on, the 47-year-old dad is trying to offer more freedom and space to his children, well constrained and forced: “Every time I try to give them a lesson, they don’t listen to me, he concludes. They don’t care about my lesson.” To bet that they are perhaps the ones who give him ski lessons!
