The day after the discovery of the bodies of the couple who had disappeared since November, the autopsy of the remains will take place on Sunday March 5 or Monday March 6, and will have to fill in the gray areas in the investigation. Journalist Thomas Cuny provides an update on the situation for the 13 Hours.

The investigation into the disappearance of Leslie and Kevin is making great strides. On Saturday evening March 4, a third suspect was indicted for murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement. Between Friday and Saturday, the two bodies of the victims had been discovered in Charente-Maritime after searches by the gendarmerie. “The autopsy must be performed today or tomorrow. It must make it possible to establish with precision that it is indeed Leslie and Kevin”explains journalist Thomas Cuny, live from Niort (Deux-Sèvres), for the 13 Hours, this Sunday, March 5.

Two people charged with murder

At the same time, the autopsy should provide answers to various questions from the investigators. “How were they killed? And when they were killed?”, notes the journalist. In this case, three people were indicted, in particular for kidnapping and forcible confinement, two for murder. This suggests “that Leslie and Kevin were not killed in the first hours after their disappearance. The public prosecutor of Poitiers must speak at the beginning of the week (…), to come back precisely to the chronology of the facts”.
