The Pierre Palmade affair has been in the news for several days. On February 10, 2023, the comedian who was driving under the influence of cocaine violently hit a car in Seine-et-Marne. Currently under investigation for “homicide and aggravated manslaughter”, Pierre Palmade was placed in prison at the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in the Paris region. Having recently suffered a stroke, the doctors preferred to keep him under observation. “Due to the state of health of the person concerned, this decision has not to date given rise to a transfer to a penitentiary establishment”, indicated the public prosecutor of Melun.
