The government’s target is set, on March 15, there will be lower prices and promotions in all French supermarkets to fight inflation. The pressure is increasing, but the brands are defending themselves by saying they are already doing a lot of discounts and promotions, in particular with blocked prices, discounts on loyalty cards and entire zero-waste shelves.

Retailers reject anti-inflation basket
