Second stage of the Biathlon World Cup, still at Östersund, Sweden. Sunday 5th December took place the women’s relay event. It was the third race of the weekend for the athletes, after the sprint race (7.5 kilometers) on Thursday 2 December, won by Austrian Lisa Theresa Hauser, and the pursuit on Saturday.
The French team made up of Anaïs Bescond, Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet, Julia Simon and Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, was very solid behind the rifle (only 4 picks) to win with a comfortable lead.
